OBERMEYER Shanghai is currently looking for a Traffic Planner.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for traffic planning and mobility analysis study, simulation and advice;
• Advise on traffic planning and mobility concepts to project and related design work collaborated with urban planner, engineers and architects;
• Work out project proposal and analysis report independently and conduct related analysis and research;
• Cooperate and coordinate with other international traffic teams in company and coordinate with business development activities;
• Able to take charge of a project independently and cooperate with client or contractor for further advice and analysis.

Requirements:

• Key university graduate, bachelor degree or above in traffic/transportation planning and mobility concepts. Experience in cooperation with urban planning, architecture or related majors;
• 4-6 years experienced in traffic design/planning, traffic simulation, mobility concepts and able to take charge of design and analysis of traffic project independently;
• Practical experience in large- and medium-scale projects, urban planning consultancy, sound specialty foundation, strong learning and adaptation abilities;
• Conscientious and responsible, with strong coordination and management capability;
• Good communication skills;
• Foreign study of advantage.

Architect

January 2022

OBERMEYER Beijing is currently looking for an Architect:

Responsibilities:

• Analyze project background and summarize project understanding;
• Propose design, and develop it under the supervision of Senior Designers;
• Assist Project Manager with project schedule and budget plan; ensure the project is implemented as approved and scheduled; be accountable for design quality and progress; coordinate with the other team members to complete the design tasks;
• Produce drawings, presentation materials, design reports, and other relevant documents which are required as day-to-day design process and deliverables as per contracts of the assigned projects;
• Responsible for proofreading and revision of design materials;
• Candidates with more experience are also accountable for client management, team management, project management and complex technical problems solving.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in architecture or related majors;
• Experience in conceptual design, schematic design, design development and construction design for the projects like mix-used, residential, commercial offices, retail, hospitality and public buildings; proven experience of medium to large scale projects is highly preferred;
• Proficient in design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, Grasshopper, Sketchup, PKPM, Photoshop, InDesign, etc. and management software such as Microsoft Office and Project, Bluebeam, Acrobat, etc.;
• Good communication skills and teamwork spirit with internal teams and external clients;
• Well organized and highly responsible；
• Proficient in writing and speaking of both Chinese and English; German is highly preferred.

Urban Planner

OBERMEYER Shanghai is currently looking for an Urban Planner:

Responsibilities:

• Develop urban design and planning concepts and translate them into clear and compelling graphic images;
• Develop innovative solutions to problems that effectively address the social, legal and economic implications of the physical form;
• Evaluate, select, and apply standard urban design techniques, procedures and criteria; use judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications on projects;
• Candidates with more experience are also accountable to key role in projects as a leader or critical designer, ensuring key deadlines are met and that the project stays on schedule.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Landscape, Urban Design or related majors; Master’s degree is highly preferred;
• Years of post-graduate experience as an Urban Designer;
• .Excellent design, visualization and graphic skills; Expertise in Adobe Design CS, AutoCAD, Sketchup And/ Or Rhino;
• Strong attention to detail; excellent organizational skills; be able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team;
• Proficient in writing and speaking of both Chinese and English; German is highly preferred.
