OBERMEYER attended OPDI Annual Conference
On October 25th in Shanghai, the first Annual Conference of the Overseas Planning and Design Institutions (OPDI) of the China Association of City Planning (CACP), themed “The Next 10 Years – International Planning and Design Enterprises in China,” was held at Xuhui Riverside. The event brought together executives and experts from 20 international planning and architectural design organizations. Through keynote speeches, panel discussions, open forums, and other diverse formats, the conference provided a collaborative platform for industry experts and representatives to discuss future shifts and strategic responses for the planning and architectural design sectors over the next decade.
As an initial founding member of OPDI and one of Germany’s leading design consultancies, OBERMEYER was joined the conference. Mr. Christopher Knabe, General Manager of OBERMEYER China, and Ms. Jerri Wu, Commercial Director, represented OBERMEYER at the event. They took part in the “Changing Times” panel discussion. During the conference, Mr. Christopher Knabe accepted an interview with OPDI, encouraging young people to adhere to their initial study wishes in the midst of temporary adversity periods and go out into the world to explore more.
Throughout the conference, Mr. Christopher Knabe and Ms. Jerri Wu exchanged opinions with other participants and offered recommendations for the Association’s future initiatives.
