OBERMEYER Consortium Shortlisted for Guangzhou Panyu District East-West Village Urban Design International Competition
Recently, OBERMEYER together with its respected allies of the China Academy of Urban Planning and Design (CAUPD) and Shenzhen Architectural Design & Research Institute (SADRI), has been selected as a finalist in the international competition for the urban design of East-West Zhuang in Panyu District, Guangzhou.
It is reported that the competition attracted many design organisations at home and abroad to participate in the competition, and received more than 61 design organisations from home and abroad to participate in the competition, including the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Holland, Australia and so on, which made up a total of 27 applications for the competition, including the consortium. In addition to internationally renowned design firms, there are also teams led by academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, provincial and municipal design masters, and well-known foreign designers who joined the competition together.
The OBERMEYER consortium's proposal was favourably received by the jury and was selected as one of the shortlists. The project team has already completed the site survey. Stay tuned for more information about the project!
