On Oct 18th, 2016 the Grand Opening Ceremony was held in Shenyang to celebrate the foundation of RDC's 5th Regional Distribution Center in China. The milestone project marks the final completion of the logistic service systems of BMW in China. RDC‘s outstanding floor structure is built on a structured and stabilized foundation, which is carefully designed in the beginning and professionally controlled and tested during construction. The insulation materials of roof, wall and window opening are all sampled after modeling calculation. Efficient T5 light plus switching by movement sensors will save energy to the most. Hot water infrared radiators for heating was considered as the best solution for high spaces and large area buildings with an effective utilization ratio of more than 90% but zero noise and minimum CO2 discharging. The usage of innovative materials and professional teamwork equip the center to be ranked as one of BMW’s most advanced and developed centers worldwide.
